The Power of Kigiri 🔥

Don’t underestimate the difference this guy can have on your account especially if you’re looking for your first 120k chest on Apoc 2, this build specifically nets me 1.5billion damage.

Your absolute first priority is to focus awakening him to A5 for me he took around 5-6months (I had him A1 for the longest time) I noticed significant improvements with him at A3, there’s a reason why prospector recommends him so much he really does hit that hard when awakened!

Your second priority should be maxing out his exclusive, if you focus on buying the artifact essence in the guild shop and picking it as an option from your guild chests for clearing the health bar on Apoc 1 or 2 it shouldn’t take too long, remember to augment as far as you can this will take up a lot of gold.

Next you want gear, I highly recommend you equip him with your best dps gear, for me that started out switching between warlord with soulbound arcana and infernal roar, I then used prospector’s hero guide around the time I awakened him to A3 to see that Cataclysm would be the absolute best end game set paired with Wicked Vengance.

This has now made a continuous cycle of forging / recasting / refining every piece of gear to min/max stats and push into the end game Kigiri build. He hits hard and carries pretty much all of my single target content.

My current goal with him is to continue min/ maxing the gear and pairing him with some great support hero’s to deal as much damage as possible and aim for highest damage Kigiri on Apoc 2 in my guild.

So now that we know how to build him how do we use him? Placement in some content is key, I almost always place him front and first followed by someone who is either giving him a buff or inspiration or rage regen, I then like to time out each hit from an enemy to strike within the first quarter of his ultimate to make sure we get the full potential damage (less waiting for a hit means more time to swing), I almost always have him on manual ult unless there is a consistent regular source of damage to proc his ultimate. In Apoc 2 you always want to try and time his ultimate to be as close to the bottom of the health bar as possible, especially later on in the fight, this is important for picking up those extra points while the boss is down. After that it’s just let him swing really hard at you’re enemy until they either surrender or get chopped in two!
