Watcher of Realms – June Heroes Leaked + Preview

Early Skill Direction Revealed

Moonton has given permission to share early skill direction for several upcoming Watcher of Realms heroes. This is not a full kit reveal, and details may still change before release, but it gives us a much clearer idea of what these heroes are designed to do and where they may fit into team building.

Credit to Moonton: I do want to give Moonton a shoutout here. Instead of fighting the current trend of creators being forced to speculate, they are directly sharing hero direction ahead of time. That helps creators give better information, and it helps the community avoid being misled by half-confirmed leaks or incomplete assumptions.
Su Yue full hero preview

Su Yue

Burst AoE Damage / Flexible Tactician

Su Yue is being positioned as a decisive burst-oriented hero built around powerful AoE damage, short windows of impact, and high tactical flexibility.

AoE Burst Tactician Ground + Platform Redeploy Mechanic
  • Powerful AoE burst damage: Su Yue appears designed to make a major impact during her active window rather than staying on the field permanently.
  • Limited deployment count and duration: She introduces a unique mechanic where her total deployment opportunities and active duration are limited.
  • Quick redeployment potential: Even though her time on the field is limited, she can be redeployed quickly, which could make timing and placement very important.
  • Highly flexible tile placement: As a Tactician hero, she can be deployed on both ground and platform tiles.
  • Ultimate utility: Her Ultimate provides AoE pull, Immobilize, and Vulnerability effects.
  • Team synergy: She is expected to pair well with Radiant Erosion or Winter’s Bite / Freeze compositions to further amplify burst damage.
Gu Shi full hero preview

Gu Shi

Ramp-Up Physical Marksman / Single & Dual Target Damage

Gu Shi is being described as a ramp-up Physical Marksman focused on strong single-target and dual-target damage, with a cultivation-stage system that changes how he should be played depending on the encounter.

Physical Marksman Ramp-Up Single Target Dual Target Offensive Dispel
  • Cultivation ramp-up: Gu Shi progresses through Normal Form, Golden Essence Stage, Nascent Soul Stage, and Unfettered Immortal.
  • A2 requirement: The Unfettered Immortal stage requires Awakening 2.
  • Offensive dispel: He has offensive dispel capabilities, which may give him extra value in specific boss or enemy encounters.
  • Single-target playstyle: In single-target environments, the direction suggests keeping him in lower cultivation stages and casting his Ultimate frequently.
  • Dual-target playstyle: In dual-target environments, he is expected to complete his ramp-up process, enter higher cultivation stages, and then cast his Ultimate.
Important: Using Gu Shi’s Ultimate before completing the ramp-up process will cause him to enter a Corrupted state. This likely makes timing his Ultimate one of the most important parts of playing him correctly.
