Kigiri
Kigiri

Strongpoints:

Guild Bosses AoE Content Single Target Content

Weakpoints:

No Anti-Air Medium Awakening Dependency

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Kigiri stands as one of the hardest-hitting heroes in Watcher of Realms, and in many scenarios, he may very well be the single strongest damage dealer in the game. His signature ability, Ember Strike, delivers devastating damage to both single-target bosses and clustered enemies, allowing him to excel across a wide range of content.

Beyond raw damage, Kigiri brings exceptional utility to his team. He applies Bleed effects that increase Physical Damage Taken, amplifying damage not only from himself but from all allied physical attackers. This makes him a powerful force multiplier in coordinated team compositions. Additionally, while sheathing his weapon in preparation for a counterstrike, Kigiri can briefly gain Unyielding, providing a layer of survivability during high-risk moments.

Kigiri also offers valuable counterplay against buff-dependent enemies by removing enemy buffs, a feature that proves especially effective in encounters such as Apocalypse II, where stripping Aegis Shield buffs can dramatically simplify the fight.

Contrary to popular belief, Kigiri is fully capable of out-damaging Sun Wukong in single-target encounters, while also completely dominating AoE content—an area where Sun Wukong’s kit is inherently limited. This combination of overwhelming damage, team synergy, and utility firmly establishes Kigiri as a top-tier carry for both bossing and wave-based content.

Sun Wukong
Sun Wukong

Strongpoints:

Guild Bosses Guild v Guild Defenses Single-Target Content

Weakpoints:

High Awakening Dependency Single-Target Only No Anti-Air

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Sun Wukong is a versatile and highly impactful Fighter in Watcher of Realms, blending elite single-target damage with meaningful utility and control. At his core, Wukong specializes in multi-strike attacks and summons, allowing him to maintain consistent pressure in boss fights and extended encounters.

His kit centers around a unique mechanic where every third Basic Attack summons Sage’s Clones, up to three at a time. These clones inherit his stats and contribute additional physical damage through adjacent attacks, significantly boosting his overall damage output during sustained combat and making him especially effective in longer fights.

Wukong’s Ultimate, Splitting Hairs, delivers a rapid series of strikes against a single enemy and includes a stun effect, providing valuable crowd control alongside his damage. His passive abilities further enhance his effectiveness: Golden Cudgel Strike offers a chance to deal bonus damage and apply stuns on Basic Attacks, while Golden Glare builds Sunder stacks that can be consumed to ignore a portion of an enemy’s defense, increasing damage efficiency against high-defense targets.

In practice, Sun Wukong is widely regarded as a top-tier damage dealer when properly geared, excelling in Guild Boss encounters and other sustained damage scenarios. While his kit is more focused on single-target pressure than wide-area clearing, his consistent output, clone synergy, and built-in control make him a dependable and highly rewarding carry for players seeking stability and long-term scaling.

Diaochan
Diaochan

Strongpoints:

Usable Almost Everywhere Multi-Form Offensive/Defensive Inspiration Hero (Most Sought after Buff)

Weakpoints:

Many Alternative Options

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Diaochan is a premium “stance” support who can flex between two powerful team roles: sustained protection or offensive amplification. Her value isn’t in personal damage—it’s in how much she elevates the heroes standing in her range through constant, reliable buffs that scale well into endgame content.

In Serenade of Hope, Diaochan functions as a defensive backbone. She periodically applies multiple pulses of ATK-based healing to allies in range, while also continuously granting both Physical and Magic Damage Reduction. This stance is ideal for stabilizing high-pressure waves and surviving heavy boss phases where keeping your core DPS alive matters more than squeezing extra numbers.

In Song of Sorrow, she shifts into an offensive enabler. She grants Inspiration to allies in range and continuously provides a Penetration Increase buff to your highest-ATK non-healer allies within her coverage, helping key carries punch through high DEF/MRES targets more consistently. This makes her especially valuable in teams built around maximizing a number of primary damage dealers.

Diaochan’s Ultimate primarily serves as a stance swap tool, letting you adapt mid-fight—protect and sustain when danger spikes, then transition into Inspiration/Penetration support when you’re ready to push damage. She also has a built-in “carryover” window after swapping, where her Basic Attacks can temporarily inherit part of the previous stance’s effect, rewarding smart timing rather than constant toggling.

Overall, Diaochan is a true force multiplier: if your lineup already has strong DPS, she can make it feel unfair. When positioned correctly, she turns good teams into consistent clears by giving you the option to either outlast the fight with healing and mitigation or accelerate the kill with Inspiration and Penetration support—often both, thanks to well-timed stance management.

Anora
Anora

Strongpoints:

AoE Damage Huge Ult Spike DMG Window Sanctity (Immune to Most Buffs/Debuffs) Summon Synergy (Buffs Allied Summons)

Weakpoints:

Weak Against Air (Noxious Breath Deals Half DMG) Value DIP Vs Single-Targets

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Anora is a high-output AoE mage built around a summoned partner, Labor, and she excels in content where sustained wave pressure and large hit coverage matter. The moment she’s deployed, she summons Labor (who inherits her attributes) and both gain Sanctity—making them immune to most buffs and debuffs and giving her uniquely stable performance in many PvE scenarios.

Her damage profile is defined by two overlapping layers: constant AoE hits from both Anora and Labor, and periodic zone pressure from Noxious Breath. Labor’s kit is designed to mow down groups reliably, while Noxious Breath adds persistent magic damage over time across multiple enemies—though airborne targets take reduced value from that DoT component.

When it’s time to turn the dial up, Anora’s Ultimate (Wyrm Dive) is the swing moment: Labor immediately bursts a large AoE hit, then gains a massive damage increase and expanded range for an extended duration. In practice, this is where Anora converts “good wave clear” into “fight ends now,” especially when you time the Ultimate into dense waves or key push windows.

Anora also brings real team value through summon synergy. While she’s on the field, she boosts Labor’s power and grants a Damage Increase buff to other allied summons, letting her slot naturally into summon-heavy lineups as both a carry and a multiplier. If you also have Ymiret, her bond upgrades Labor into a control-leaning variant that can apply slow stacks and freeze, adding even more utility on top of the damage.

Overall, Anora is a premium AoE solution with a “summon carry” identity: dominant when there are multiple targets to chew through, excellent in wave-based progression, and even stronger when paired with other summons or control setups that keep enemies inside her damage zones.

Moriden
Moriden

Strongpoints:

Exceptional Single-Target Burst DMG Mobility (Displacement) DEF Penetrating Built-in Rage Buff

Weakpoints:

AoE Content No Anti-Air Awakening/Bond Dependent

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Moriden is a tactical single-target physical damage hero whose identity lies in high-burst precision and battlefield flexibility. As a Tactician, his Ultimate lets him **displace** across the map, instantly repositioning to punish key targets and maximize his damage output.

On deployment, Moriden triggers Deep Cleave, a powerful strike with DEF penetration that sets the tone for his role as a focused damage dealer. Over time, he builds stacks of Dark Infusion, increasing his base attributes and enabling stronger performance during his enhanced state.

His Ultimate, *Whirlwind Strike*, combines displacement with a devastating strike followed by entry into the *Prince of Darkness* state, where his Basic Attacks transform into even harder-hitting Soul Strikes. While in this mode, Moriden also provides a small Rage Regen buff to nearby allies, offering utility beyond pure damage.

Where Moriden truly shines is in battles where eliminating priority threats quickly matters most. His kit is tuned for **single-target boss DPS, priority target destruction, and clutch repositioning**, especially when his Ultimate is timed well. However, his effectiveness falls off in scenarios that demand constant AoE coverage or prolonged damage beyond single targets.

A notable synergy for Moriden is with **Valara** — when paired together, he receives a reduced deployment cost and starts with maximal Dark Infusion stacks, dramatically enhancing his opening damage potential. However, this bond is tied to exclusive ancients, which represents both a power cap and a limitation for free-to-play rosters.

Gwendolyn
Gwendolyn

Strongpoints:

Massive Shields Vulnerabilities

Weakpoints:

Low to Zero Heals Niche Role (Shield Play is very Niche)

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Gwendolyn is a defensive support who has gained significant value following recent buffs, evolving from a purely protective unit into a powerful control-oriented enabler. While her core identity still revolves around shielding allies, her updated kit now rewards shield management with meaningful offensive and crowd-control pressure.

Her Ultimate, Icy Shell, applies a massive shield equal to a percentage of allies’ maximum HP, scaling with Healing Effect and providing reliable teamwide protection during high-damage phases. When these shields expire, Shield of Hope restores a portion of the target’s max HP and grants Rage, ensuring that Gwendolyn contributes both survivability and tempo even after the shield itself is gone.

The reworked Frigid Flurry dramatically elevates her impact. Each time one of her shields expires, nearby enemies are inflicted with Physical Vulnerability, extended Slow, and brief Freeze, allowing Gwendolyn to convert defensive uptime directly into enemy disruption. At higher awakenings, this effect scales further—affecting more targets and significantly increasing the vulnerability applied—making her especially effective in Physical-damage focused teams.

Gwendolyn’s awakenings further reinforce her durability and clutch potential. At Awakening III, she gains a one-time emergency trigger that grants Unyielding and rapidly restores allied HP when she would otherwise fall, while Awakening V provides permanent Max HP stacking after casting Icy Shell, allowing her shields to scale harder the longer a fight lasts.

In practice, Gwendolyn now excels in sustained PvE encounters where damage mitigation, control layering, and team stability matter more than raw healing output. She is no longer a niche pick, but rather a defensive anchor that can both protect allies and punish enemies simply by doing what she does best—keeping her team alive.

Lust
Lust

Strongpoints:

ATK Speed & Rage Regen Synergy Multi-strike Ultimate Massive Single-Target Physical Damage

Weakpoints:

Friendly Fire Risk Awakening & Bond Dependent AoE Content

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Lust is a high-impact single-target physical damage dealer whose kit is built around **punishing focused targets with rapid multi-strike power**. As a Nightmare Council Fighter, her Basic Attack randomly strikes twice and carries a small risk of hitting allies if they’re in range, turning poor positioning into a potential drawback.

Her core damage identity revolves around Sinful Lash, which triggers for every two Ultimates used by her and Nightmare Council allies. This mechanic rewards coordinated ultimate usage and dramatically boosts her damage throughput in long fights where Ultimates are cycling frequently.

Lust’s Ultimate, Punishing Pace, transforms her into a true weapon of focused damage — increasing her damage and turning every Basic Attack into four lashes over a 15-second window. At higher awakenings, this increases further, enabling six lashes per attack for even more concentrated output.

Build synergy is real for Lust. Her passive buffs stack extra attack speed when Sinful Lash triggers, helping her weave attacks faster and keep the pressure on her target. Pairing her with Nightmare Council allies like Arrogance enhances her Ultimate damage and applies Burning on hits, adding continuous damage over time.

In practice, Lust dominates **single-target bossing and high-health priority targets**. With the right gear, awakenings, and team setup, she can outpace many peers in sustained damage, but her reliance on proper positioning and the conditional nature of some buffs keeps her balanced and engaging rather than purely oppressive.

Falcia
Falcia

Strongpoints:

High Attack Speed Assault Stack Mechanic Combo Burst Windows

Weakpoints:

Sustain Reliant on Offense Needs Constant Shields Awakening Reliant

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Falcia is a uniquely flexible bruiser whose kit stands out among Fighters due to her ability to deal both Physical and Magic damage depending on her current stance. Rather than locking her into a single damage type, she switches between stances that change her output profile, allowing her to adapt based on enemy resistance and composition needs.

One of Falcia’s most valuable contributions is her consistent application of a **Damage Reduction debuff** against bosses and elite targets, reducing their incoming damage by a significant amount and increasing overall team survivability. This debuff alone is enough to shift the tempo of high-pressure fights, especially in long boss phases where mitigating damage is as important as dealing it.

Falcia also benefits from a naturally tankier base stat distribution than many fighters, which allows her to stay in the fight longer without needing constant peel support. Combined with her inherent mechanics that make **attack speed investments more effective than average**, she scales uniquely well with attack speed boosts — each point meaningfully tightens her attack intervals and reinforces her offensive rhythm.

Her stance mechanic further adds depth: stacking and toggling between Physical and Magic outputs keeps her damage relevant against a wider variety of targets than many single-typed carries. While this complexity means she takes some mastery to play optimally, it also makes her highly rewarding for players who position and manage stances proficiently.

In the right team compositions — particularly those that benefit from **high single-target focus and damage reduction synergies** — Falcia is a durable and powerful carry who can outpace many peers in boss damage while maintaining respectable survivability and utility.

Lady Mina
Lady Mina

Strongpoints:

Strong Crowd Control Vulnerability Debuffs Unique Dual Bond Skill

Weakpoints:

Limited Uptime Outside Ultimate Low DMG Output Limited Exclusive + Collab Exclusive Hero

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Lady Mina is a unique hybrid mage-piercer whose identity centers on rhythm and burst windows rather than constant raw output. Before her Ultimate, her Basic Attack rhythm builds stackable Blood Sigils on enemies while applying slowing effects that help control waves and soften targets. Every few Basic Attacks she also triggers an enhanced AoE strike that spreads these effects and keeps pressure on grouped foes.

Her Ultimate, Eternal Darkness, is the defining moment of her kit. Upon activation, Lady Mina immobilizes up to 10 enemies and then transforms into a phantom version of Count Dracula. In this form she deals repeated **piercing physical damage** in bursts, hitting multiple targets at set intervals. During this window she also gains bonus ATK equal to a portion of the highest ATK ally on the field, making team composition and timing critical to maximizing her damage potential.

In addition to direct damage, her passive **Blood Resonance** applies Physical Vulnerability to enemies hit by her triggers, increasing the physical damage they take for a short period. This effect adds tactical value beyond her own damage, synergizing with other physical carries or bursts. Combined with slow and immobilize effects, she brings a blend of damage enhancement and crowd management that can be powerful in coordinated setups.

Lady Mina’s bond skills further reinforce her niche identity. With **Count Dracula** she gains bonus critical damage from the highest ATK ally when her Ultimate triggers, while bonding with **Vlad Draculea** lets her enhanced Basic Attack triggers chain twice. These synergistic bonuses reward thoughtful team builds but also raise the bar for optimal performance.

In practice, Lady Mina shines most in coordinated content where her Ultimate can be timed to land on grouped enemies and where allied DPS can complement her damage amplification. Outside of her Ultimate window she has less consistent output than dedicated sustained DPS units, but in the right setup she can control enemy movement, amplify physical damage, and deliver strong burst phases that tilt difficult fights in your favor.

Captain Reve
Captain Reve

Strongpoints:

Consistent Crowd Control AoE Stuns Self-Healing Strong Tank AND DPS

Weakpoints:

Crowd Control Dependent Not a Pure Tank Ultimate Focued DMG Windows Limited Anti-Air

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Captain Reve is a control-centric defender who excels at disrupting enemy advances while providing reliable frontline stability. His core identity lies in creating persistent crowd control — a passive slow aura that weakens enemy momentum, combined with a powerful AoE stun from his Ultimate, allowing allied damage dealers more room and time to operate.

Reve’s kit also includes built-in sustain: when attacking controlled targets (slowed or stunned), he restores a portion of his own health, reinforcing his ability to remain in the fray without constant external healing. This combination of crowd control and self-healing lets him serve as a durable frontline anchor in many PvE mode types, especially against dense waves or heavy hit squads.

His Ultimate, Boiling Brine, is a defining moment in his kit — dealing significant Magic damage while stunning multiple enemies in range. During this window, Reve can stack attack speed and increase his own damage output, making him far more than just a disruption hero. Coupled with faction synergy in Cursed Cult teams, he can unlock strong performance both defensively and offensively.

However, Reve is not a traditional “pure tank” by raw defensive stats. His power peaks around his control toolkit and the uptime of his Ultimate. Outside of these windows, his raw damage can be modest, and he doesn’t offer strong anti-air utility. Despite this, his combination of slow, stun, sustain, and faction synergy make him a highly valuable pick for progression, gear raids, and modes where crowd management is as important as brute resistance.

Dahlia
Dahlia

Strongpoints:

Long-range AoE Blossom Traps Ally Buff Utility Poisons and Strong CC

Weakpoints:

No Anti-Air Odd Attack Range (Straight Line) Special Map Awareness Very Niche Placements/Usability

Awakening Dependency:

Prospector’s DIG:

Dahlia is a uniquely strategic mage who combines **persistent area control with burst damage potential**. Her kit revolves around placing **Cursed Blossoms** — ethereal tiles that erupt with deadly magic whenever enemies walk through them. Each Cursed Blossom slows enemies and applies poison over time, making her role one of both pressure and attrition rather than pure burst alone.

At range, Dahlia generates these Blossoms automatically every few attack intervals, weaving a field of magical traps that anchor enemy movement and punish units that try to advance. Her Basic Attack deals solid AoE magic damage, but her real power comes when those traps are detonated and enemies are pulled through them repeatedly.

Dahlia’s Ultimate sharply shifts her into a **high-impact burst phase**: upon activation, she prioritizes igniting existing Blossoms around her, causing them to explode for massive AoE damage to nearby foes while inflicting strong slow and high-stack poison effects. During this window, each explosion also feeds into her passive bonus, increasing Dahlia’s crit damage for each trap ignited.

Beyond her personal damage, Dahlia’s presence on the battlefield can also bolster allies. When multiple Cursed Blossoms are adjacent to a friendly unit, that ally gains a small Block buff and increased damage — adding a layer of **terrain-based support utility** that rewards thoughtful deployment and positioning.

In practice, Dahlia excels in **wave-focused PvE content** and modes where controlling the battlefield is as valuable as raw damage output. Her ability to lay magical traps that slow and poison swarms makes her particularly effective in scenarios demanding sustained crowd pressure, though her reliance on ground-based tiles means she’s less optimal against purely airborne enemies.
