Watcher of Realms Patch Notes – January 19, 2026

Here are the official Watcher of Realms update notes for January 19, 2026, including hero adjustments, new battle optimizations, Guild War improvements, and additional achievements and progression updates.


Patch Overview

  • Heroes: Adjustments for Cassiel, Lyra, Lu Bu, and Chaotic faction lord skills.
  • Battle Systems: New Quick Clear system added for multiple raids and trials.
  • Guild War: Winning streak bonus points added.
  • Other Updates: New achievements, Faction Trial expansion, Tide Onslaught reward improvements, and early-game progression optimizations.

Heroes

Malrik, The Rogue of Runes

  • Optimized the description of [Wizard’s Rune].
  • Added clarification: Runes can be granted to allied heroes with Sanctity.

Cassiel, The Blade of Justice

Passive Skill Adjustments

[Celerity of Mind]

Before:
After casting the Ultimate, increases Rage restored from consuming Divine Sigil by 30/40/40/40/50/50%. The follow-up attack of Divine Retribution additionally inflicts 20/20/30/30/30% DMG Reduction for 10 sec.

After:
After casting the Ultimate, increases Rage restored from consuming Divine Sigil by 30/40/40/40/50/50%. The follow-up attack of Divine Retribution additionally inflicts 20/20/30/30/30% DMG Reduction for 10 sec. When no enemies are within the Ultimate range, restores 20 extra Rage per sec.

[Fortified Blessing]

Before:
Shares 35/40/45/50/50% of DMG taken by the ally 1 tile ahead. The hero gains 10/10/10/10/20% DMG Reduction.

After:
Shares 35/40/45/50/50% of DMG taken by the ally 1 tile ahead. The hero gains 10/10/10/10/20% DMG Reduction. Does not share fatal DMG.

Awaken Skill Adjustments

Awakened I

Before:
When deployed, gains 3 stacks of Divine Sigil. When no enemies are within the Ultimate range, restores 20 extra Rage per sec.

After:
When deployed, gains 3 stacks of Divine Sigil. When consuming Divine Sigil, increases the hero’s ATK by 5% for 20 sec, stacking up to 3 times.

Awakened IV

Before: Penetration +8%
After: Crit. DMG +15%

Awakened V

Before:
When Divine Retribution is cast, gains an additional shield equal to 25% of HP for 10 sec (stacks up to 100%).

After:
When Divine Retribution is cast, gains an additional shield equal to 25% of the hero’s ATK for 10 sec (stacks up to 100%).

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some Talent promotion effects were unlocked early.
  • Fixed an issue where the Stun effect of Divine Retribution occasionally failed to take effect.

Rivenhald, The Hornbound Sovereign

  • Fixed an issue where the shield duration of [Frozen Crown] was inaccurate at Skill Level 4 or higher.

Tactician Class

  • Displacement skill optimization: Tactician heroes can now adjust their deployment direction when casting skills at their current location.

Chaotic Faction Lord Skill Adjustments

Ghan, The Bloodaxe Khagan & Valderon, The Fallen Justice

Before:
Increases faction team members’ DMG based on lost HP, up to 60% at 30% HP.

After:
Increases faction team members’ DMG and Penetration based on lost HP, up to 60% DMG and 20% Penetration at 30% HP.

Vladov, Bloodtooth

Before:
Increases faction team members’ DMG based on lost HP, up to 40% at 30% HP.

After:
Increases faction team members’ DMG and Penetration based on lost HP, up to 40% DMG and 10% Penetration at 30% HP.

Lu Bu, The Flying General

Deep Descent Enhancement

Before:
Enters Deep Descent with independent HP and starts with 65% HP. When Chaos Strike triggers, inflicts 50% Slow for 3 sec. When receiving fatal DMG, exits the state and restores 50% HP.

After:
Enters Deep Descent with independent HP and starts with 35% HP, gaining a shield equal to 50% Max HP for 15 sec. When Chaos Strike triggers, inflicts 50% Slow for 3 sec. When receiving fatal DMG, exits the state and gains a shield equal to 50% Max HP for 15 sec.

  • Lu Bu’s Exclusive Artifact now expands the range of Chaos Strike.

Lyra, The Cosmic Seer

Ultimate Adjustment

[Starfall Strike]

Before:
Summons a meteor dealing 460/530/600/700/700% DMG to one enemy.

After:
Summons a meteor dealing 460/530/600/700/700% DMG and inflicts Burning for 10 sec.

[Rift Resonance] Adjustment

Before:
Meteor hits increase ATK and dispel 1 buff.

After:
Ultimate increases ATK first, then meteor hit dispels a buff.

Awaken Skill Changes

  • Awakened I: Cosmic Rift ultimates can inflict different Burning effects.
  • Awakened III: Increased damage against shielded targets.
  • Awakened V: Starfall Strike now ignores 80% M. RES and grants 50% Crit. DMG for 15 sec.
  • Fixed an issue where some Faction Exclusive Gear and Variant Gear failed to apply correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where Eirlys‘ Basic ATK occasionally failed to heal allies.

Battle Optimizations

  • Added the Quick Clear feature.
  • Quick Clear now applies to Campaign stages, Promotion Raid, Resource Raid, Gear Raid, Artifact Material Raid, and Faction Trial.
  • Players receive 10 free Quick Clear attempts daily.
  • Quick Clear attempts can also be obtained via in-game features and events.
  • Fixed an issue where Gear and Artifact data were not saved in Void Rift Nightmare Auto-fight records.
  • Optimized Tower of Deception Quick Clear logic — Boss and Hidden Chamber stages can now be cleared instantly after full star completion.

Guild War

  • Added a Winning Streak Bonus system.
  • Guild War victories in consecutive matches will now grant additional Guild War points.
  • This feature takes effect starting from the next season.

Other Additions & Optimizations

  • Added new achievement Dungeon Dominator: Clear Gear Dungeon I-13 and II-13. Reward: Legendary Hero Soulstone.
  • Added achievements related to Trial of the Esotericists.
  • Added Trial of the Esotericists to Faction Trial up to Stage 18.
  • Improved Tide Onslaught rewards — Legendary Demon Soldier shards now replace Rare shards after Wave 151.
  • Reduced Honor’s Gauntlet weekly requirement from 20 matches to 15 matches.
  • 3★ and 4★ heroes can now be awakened to max level in one step.
  • Added confirmation prompts when using Legendary Soulstones.
  • Improved display of Guild Quest completion.
  • Updated skill status icons for some heroes.
  • Optimized generation rules for secondary attributes on certain 2-Piece Gear Sets.

Early-Game Progression Improvements

  • Improved feature unlock pacing.
  • Optimized rewards for the 7-Day Search event.
  • Added the Pathfinding Tour feature.
  • Improved rewards and requirements for certain storyline quests.
  • Increased rewards for some campaign stages.

  • Optimized Idle Rewards.
