Here are the official Watcher of Realms update notes for March 2, 2026. Update Duration: 03/02/2026, 16:15 – 03/02/2026, 20:15 (UTC-8). Compensation: Diamond x500.
Patch Overview
- Guild War: Guild War S13 begins, Gladiator’s Gauntlet returns, Bot Stronghold changes arrive, and Mystery Demon Chest updates are included.
- Hero Adjustments: Astrael and Sargak receive major updates, with multiple additional hero fixes and text optimizations.
- New Content: New Abyssal Rift stages, new achievements, and new Odyssey quests added.
- Other Updates: Security Lock improvements, Odyssey difficulty reductions, Void Rift improvements, Tower of Deception tag updates, and Arena lineup saving improvements.

Guild War S13 Starts
- Updated Central Keep and Defense Towers maps for the new season.
- Updated new season theme, Avatar Border, and Emote rewards.
- New season Demon Soldier [Pharaoh’s Guard] can be obtained through Guild War.
Demon Soldier – Pharaoh’s Guard: A high-DPS melee Demon Soldier capable of inflicting debuffs.

- Adjusted the deployment limit of Demon Captains in Gladiator’s Gauntlet from 3 to 2.
Optimizations
- Optimized the visual performance of the Results screen.
- Removed Bot Strongholds for all Tier A Guilds, effective from the next season.
- Adjusted the BP display for Bot Strongholds and reduced their difficulty in Gold Rank.
- Added a shortcut to view the opponent’s Demon Soldier team in defense replays.
- Added a display to the battle replay list, showing the specific number of Soul Cores destroyed.
Mystery Demon Chest and Demon Soldier Adjustments
- New Demon Soldier added to Mystery Demon Chest: Demon Soldier – Frozen Raider.
- Optimized the visual effects of Twin Demon Soldier.
- Optimized the pity mechanism for obtaining Faction Demon Captains from the Mystery Demon Chest.
- Fixed an issue where Demon Captain – Countess Mariath’s active skill sometimes failed to take effect during Auto-fights.

Astrael, The Duskborn Marquis
[Ultimate Talent]
Before:
Basic ATK has a 30% chance to become a Deep Bite and inflict 20% Vulnerability (P. DMG) on the target for 5 sec. While shielded, the Talent trigger chance increases by 20%.
After:
Basic ATK has a 30% chance to become a Deep Bite and inflict 20% Vulnerability (P. DMG) on the target for 5 sec. While shielded, the Talent trigger chance increases by 30%.
[Crimson Embrace]
Before:
Can choose and charge to an empty ground tile within 3 tiles, dealing 120/120/200/200/200% AoE DMG to up to 5 enemies in path. After casting this skill, the hero is enhanced: gains 40/50/50/60/60% ATK and guarantees that the next Basic ATK during this enhancement becomes Deep Bite. This enhancement buff lasts for 15 sec.
After:
Can choose and charge to an empty ground tile within 4 tiles, dealing 120/120/200/200/200% AoE DMG to up to 5 enemies in path. After casting this skill, the hero is enhanced: gains 40/50/50/60/60% ATK and guarantees that the next 3 Basic ATKs during this enhancement become Deep Bites. This enhancement buff lasts for 15 sec.
[Vampiric Aura]
Before:
After casting the Ultimate, grants a shield equal to 100/115/115/130/130% of the hero’s ATK to the hero and 1 adjacent ally with the lowest HP percentage. Upon gaining this shield, dispels all debuffs, and while the shield exists, grants 10% ATK Interval Decrease. The shield lasts for 10/10/12/12/15 sec.
After:
After casting the Ultimate, grants a shield equal to 100/120/120/130/130% of the hero’s ATK to the hero and 1 adjacent ally with the lowest HP percentage for 10/10/12/12/15 sec. Upon gaining this shield, dispels all debuffs; while the shield exists, grants 10% ATK Interval Decrease. When applying this shield to self, increases Shield Strength by 50%.
Awakened I
Before:
The damage of each instance from Deep Bite increases to 220%.
After:
Increases every single instance of Deep Bite’s DMG to 220%. After casting Deep Bite, increases the hero’s Crit. DMG by 40% for 10 sec. Stacks up to 2 times.
Sargak, The Gruesome Spear
Ultimate Talent Adjustment
Before:
All DMG dealt has a 25% chance to trigger Blood Spear, inflicting Bleed on the target. If the target is already inflicted with Bleed, Blood Spear ignores 50% of their DEF.
After:
All DMG dealt has a 25% chance to trigger Blood Spear, inflicting Bleed on the target. If the target is already inflicted with Bleed, Blood Spear ignores 50% of their DEF and inflicts 10% DEF Reduction to them.
[Bloodshed Fury]
Before:
When triggered, consumes 10% of current HP per sec, reduces DEF by 30%, and increases ATK by 35/40/45/45/45%. Additionally, each Basic ATK lands 2 consecutive strikes. Lasts for 15/15/15/20/20 sec.
After:
When triggered, dispels debuffs on self. During the Ultimate, becomes immune to debuffs, and consumes 10% of current HP per sec when HP is above 25%. Increases ATK by 35/40/45/45/45%, and each Basic ATK lands 2 consecutive strikes. Lasts for 15/15/15/20/20 sec.
[Bellicosity]
Before:
Increases ATK Spd. by 6/7/8/9/10 for every 1% HP lost. The effect of Specialized ATK Spd. is stronger when HP is lower.
After:
Increases ATK Spd. by 10/11/12/13/15 for every 1% HP lost. The effect of Specialized ATK Spd. is stronger when HP is lower (max effect at 25% HP).
Awakened I
Before:
During the effect of Bloodshed Fury, if the hero’s HP is below 50%, additionally increases ATK by 10% and reduces DEF by 10%.
After:
During the effect of Bloodshed Fury, if the hero’s HP is below 50%, additionally increases ATK by 10% and reduces DEF by 10%, as well as increasing Blood Spear’s trigger chance by 10%.
Awakened III
Before:
Blood Spear deals 50% increased DMG to Elites or Bosses.
After:
Blood Spear restores 2% Rage to the hero and deals 50% increased DMG to Elites or Bosses.
Awakened IV
Before: Crit. Rate +8%
After: Penetration +8%
Awakened V
Before:
When any unit (including allies and enemies) in range dies, increases ATK by 1%. ATK will be increased by an extra 1% if the unit is killed by the hero. The increase is capped at 20%.
After:
When any unit (including allies and enemies) in range dies, increases ATK by 4%. ATK will be increased by an extra 4% if the unit is killed by the hero. The increase is capped at 24%.
Additional Hero Fixes and Text Adjustments
- Fixed an issue where Prismite: Malachite and Prismite: Cobalt failed to trigger Passive – Perspective in certain edge cases.
- Fixed an issue where Prismarch could not deal Splash DMG to invisible enemies.
- [Ezareth, The World Eater] Adjusted descriptions of some skill effects without changing the actual effects.
- [Lyra, The Cosmic Seer] Modified the description of the Awakened V skill. The actual effect remains unchanged.
- [Hatssut, The Avenging Empress] Fixed an issue where the hero was not in the Invisibility state for 0.1 sec upon deployment.
- [Pierre, The Painter] Adjusted the names of summoned units in certain languages.
New Content
- Added new stages AR8-5 – AR8-8 to The Abyssal Rift in Campaign Chapter VIII.
New Achievements
- Conqueror V: Clear Stage 24 of all 3 Gear Raids. Reward: Legendary Hero Pact (Conqueror). You can randomly get 1 Legendary hero from a selected pool.
- Guild War Elite: Claim rank rewards for Platinum or higher in Guild War 1 time. Reward: Legendary Faction Demon Soldier Choice Chest. You can choose from Demon Soldier – Frozen Cleric, Demon Soldier – Emberfire Templar, or Demon Soldier – Specter Skeleton Archer.
- New Odyssey quests added. Rewards include Praetus’s Skin, Init Soulstone, Odyssey-Exclusive Camp Music, Advanced Recasting Hammers, various Gems, Summoning Crystals, and more.
Other Optimizations and Adjustments
- Added a Force Unbind feature to Security Lock. Commanders who have enabled the Security Lock can now use verification to forcibly unbind current login methods (e.g., Facebook, Apple, Google Play).
- Reduced the difficulty of some existing Odyssey quests.
- Optimized the prompt for Titanic Ruins – Matrix I, and added a pop-up prompt when entering battle.
- Optimized Void Rift gameplay, allowing players to exit or change mounts at any time during exploration.
- Added new tags to all Boss stages and Hidden Chamber stages in Tower of Deception. Commanders can challenge them when the next Tower of Deception event begins.
- Added a BP display to Arena Auto-fights.
- Previously, unsaved adjustments to the Arena lineup in Team interface were lost when switching to the Hero interface; now these adjustments will remain saved.
